Disney World Reducing Monorail Hours of Operation

Walt Disney World monorail service to the evening Extra Magic Hours park (Magic Kingdom or Epcot) will no longer operate during the last two hours of evening Extra Magic Hours. Monorail service will end at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot one hour after each park's regularly scheduled close. This change has already taken place for Epcot and will begin at the Magic Kingdom on August 1, 2011. The extra time will be used to conduct maintenance on the monorail system and to allow the trains more down-time. Bus and/or boat service will be provided in lieu of the monorail.
